Sliding Fee Scale Application

GUIDELINES

     1.  The sliding fee scale applies only to full-time enrollments.

  1. Completed SFS applications for Fall 2017 need to be submitted to the CCYC office no later than June 30.  Applications received after this date will be considered on a first-come first-served basis based on fund availability 
  1. Only completed applications with attachments will be considered for approval.

REQUIRED ATTACHMENT-first 2 pages of your most recent Federal Tax Return with required signature(s). You may also attach any other information that you feel may be helpful in determining your eligibility.

  1. College students applying for assistance are required to submit a copy of their current Financial Aid Award.
  1. All completed applications will be reviewed and approved by the Finance Committee of the CCYC Board of Directors. The decision of the committee is final and cannot be appealed.
  1. Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision as soon as possible.
  1. Recipients of tuition assistance will be asked to sign a letter of agreement and are required to notify the CCYC Executive Director immediately of changes affecting employment and/or income status.
  1. Applicants must re-apply every semester for tuition assistance.
  1. Failure to make regular weekly tuition payments will be cause for termination of tuition assistance.

Determining Criteria for SFS Eligibility

The following criteria will be considered when determining a family’s eligibility for the sliding fee scale:

  • Affiliation with Goshen College, College Mennonite Church, or Arbor Ridge resident
  • Enrollment availability
  • Availability of alternative financial resources (State and Federal)
  • CACFP eligibility (USDA Food Program)
  • Availability of subsidy funding
